Take courses in your expertise. Attend seminars presented by experts in your sector. Take additional courses and learn all you can. Learn with experts. Ask them questions, write them letters, read their books, read their articles, and listen to people who have proven themselves in the areas where you want to be successful.
Employers will raise you if you perform well...To get there you need to improve your knowledge specific to your position...This is no secret!
Go to the right people
Only people with positive, success-oriented people. Surround yourself with winners. As we say, fly with the eagles. You can’t fly with eagles if you keep hanging around with turkeys. Stay away from the kind of people who aren’t going anywhere, stay away from negative people. Stay away from co-workers who are negative. If you have a negative boss, seriously consider changing jobs. Association on a regular basis with negative people is enough to condemn you to incompletion, frustrations and failure. Only associate with positive people. Surround yourself with winners.
